Bug #: 51151
Summary: BSD-specific note for the CoreDumpDirectory Directive
Product: Apache httpd-2
Version: 2.2-HEAD
Platform: PC
URL: http://httpd.apache.org/docs/current/mod/mpm_common.ht
ml#coredumpdirectory
OS/Version: FreeBSD
Status: NEW
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P2
Component: Documentation
AssignedTo: docs@httpd.apache.org
ReportedBy: mi+apache@aldan.algebra.com
Classification: Unclassified
The description of the CoreDumpDirectory has a Linux-specific note.
The BSD-specific note should say something like:
<<To enable core-dumping of suid-executables on BSD-systems (such as FreeBSD),
set the kern.sugid_coredump to 1.>>
This should go into all branches of the document tree, of course, not just the
2.2-HEAD, of course. Thanks!
