I feel like our recent changes to the rewrite documentation more than address
this ticket. While of course there's *always* room for improvement, I think
that we've addressed the concerns addressed in this ticket, and are well on
track to continue these improvements. I'm going to close this ticket. Thanks
for the feedback.
