Anyway, we already have this for some directives (see http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/mod/mod_headers.html#header for an example). It does sometimes lead to problems (I know I've deleted some "available in 1.2 and above" from 2.x docs in the past), but overall I think it's worth doing.
