In addition to .jar, the=20 following is useful: text/vnd.sun.j2me.app-descriptor jad This mime type is already in mime.types, but there is no extension for=20 it, by default. This causes no end of grief for people who are serving=20 J2ME apps for the first time as Sun is quite picky about the mime type=20 being returned by the server, often. So, if .jar makes it in, I'd personally like to see=20 text/vnd.sun.j2me.app-descriptor get the jad extension. :) Also, AFAIK, there is no other mime type which could be used for a .jad=20 file. :) Sorry for hijacking this further away from "application/octet-stream",=20 but I really don't like that mime type, as a rule. ;) Warmest, --Matt --=20 /* * Matt Lewandowsky matt@iamcode.net * Random Geek http://www.iamcode.net/ * +1 (866) 606-9696 +44 (0) 844 484 8254 */ --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: docs-unsubscribe@httpd.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: docs-help@httpd.apache.org
