Subject Inaccuracy in htdigest description
Date Thu, 25 Mar 2004 08:34:35 GMT
Hi,

there is a little inaccuracy in the description of the htdigest tool
(docs-2.0/programs/htdigest.html). The line about the 'username' argument
says:
"The user name to create or update in passwdfile. If username does not
exist is this file, an entry is added. If it does exist, the password is
changed."

The truth is of course that the same username can exist several times for
different realms. So the line should be something like this:
"The user name to create or update in passwdfile. If username does not
exist in this file for the given realm, an entry is added. If the
username/realm combination does exist, the password is changed."

Regards
Sascha
