On Windows w= e do not have a default provider for the platform so the server stops the= re, logs the configuration error but it doesn't crash. I should have ment= ioned that, sorry I didn't. LoadModule authn_socache_module modules/mod_authn_socache.so LoadModule socache_dbm_module modules/mod_socache_dbm.so AuthnCacheSOCache dbm [1] This may not be important but as is with the above config the module still = crashes, it doesn't seem to satisfy as being configured. With 92-94 remov= ed however, I've found it is enough to get us up and running. Hope this helps. [1] minor docs nit, in the usage example AuthnCacheSOCache is shown in a di= rectory context but this is a server only directive. Gregg -----Original Message----- From: Nick Kew Sounds like a long shot, but does the problem go away if you configure the module, or if you remove the test at lines 92-94?
