Hello devs;
 I have written and submitted patch 48939
and wanted to solicit any thoughts or feelings about the idea of adding
this configuration directive. For a quick summary, the directive would
allow the server administrator to configure HTTPD such that it will
force a worker into error status if one or X number of HTTP status
codes are seen after the request completes. I have noticed a fair
amount of buzz about the topic around the web and thought this would be
a good addition. How do you folks feel about this notion? For me, this
seems to be a good answer to some of the slow-starting Application
Servers out there.

Thank you kindly for your time
