Subject Re: [PATCH] mod_proxy sessions
Date Fri, 05 Feb 2010 17:21:33 GMT
Hello all,

Here are the 2 patches against trunk and http-2.2.x for mod_proxy_session,
which is now a module of its own.

The module scheme_handler is executed before the others and will always
return DECLINED (the real handling is left to the concerned module).
It uses a new ap_proxy_setaside_connection() function for the session
connection to be used by ap_proxy_acquire_connection(), only if needed of
course (based on the session IDs provided in the request notes).

The httpd-2.2.x patch does not change the "cast in stone" 2.2 ABI, at the
price of a new worker lock in ap_proxy_acquire_connection().

The trunk patch does the ABI change that allow a simpler/more efficient code
(should mod_proxy_session have any interest, or another module that would
like to force the connection to be used).

Thanks for your comments,
Yann.
