I disagree.  It's hard currently bcs every module does their config
differently...  Some use <dir...> blocks, some don't. Some support
expressions ($stuff, $ENV{foo}), some don't, etc.  With Lua (or magic slim
interpreter) module author just writes a bit of glue code, no more
complicated than the current module "boot-strap" stuff, and it all just
works.
