I ran for a while with

MaxRequestsPerChild 1
ProxyPass / http://www.ibm.com/
ProxyPassReverse / http://www.ibm.com/

and jumped around that site for a while, then did apachectl restart and got

I can't yet reproduce it at will, but will try again tomorrow.  I
doubt this has anything to do with your current patch.
