Subject apxs not compiling with largefile support?
Date Mon, 17 Apr 2006 22:09:14 GMT
Here's another odd one...

My apache is compiled with large file support. However, when apxs goes to
compile a DSO, it doesn't pass the correct cflags in. This results in a
bunch of "syntax error before off64_t" errors.

To work around this, I'm doing this:

APXS = /opt/apache2/bin/apxs
APR_CONFIG = /opt/apache2/bin/apr-1-config
APXS_CFLAGS = -I/opt/weedns-4/src/libweedns4  `$(APR_CONFIG) --cppflags`
APXS_LDFLAGS = -L/opt/weedns-4/src -lweedns4 -lmysqlclient
COMPILE_IT = $(APXS) -S CFLAGS="$(APXS_CFLAGS) -Wall -Wimplicit-function-declaration" $(APXS_LDFLAGS)
-n $(MODULE_NAME) -c
INSTALL_IT = $(APXS) -i -a -n $(MODULE_NAME) $(TARGETLA)

But bringing apr-config in myself seems to defeat the purpose of using apxs
in the first place. Is this a known issue or something I'm doing wrong? Is
there a better way?

	Thanks,
		Tyler
