This is more a question for the users list than the dev list.

But the answer is that you can easily add it to the access log using the 
%{VDBH_HOST}e string as shown here:
http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/mod/mod_log_config.html
but you can't add it to server-status without changing code.
