yes, it _is_ broken.

i've started working on an new MPM (multiplexer), derived from perchild, 
which also provides the possibility for assigning UIDs to vhosts, but 
is (should be) a bit more secure. 

but the muxmpm isnt really stable yet, there's still the problem that
worker threads are dying out after a while ...

perhaps you wanna help ?
