Ooooh, perhaps an optional function would indeed be better.  Hadn't
thought of that.  Patches?  =)

BTW, notice that AuthBasicProvider/AuthDigestProvider is an ITERATE
directive.  To support multiple providers, I'd prefer to see it
implemented that way.  -- justin
