I tried adding '--with-auth_ldap=/home/moloney/httpd-ldap' to the
configure command and the module still wasn't compiled.

Any other ideas?

Here's my config.nice file if it helps.

  #! /bin/sh

   #

  # Created by configure

  "./configure" \
  "--prefix=/usr/local/apache2" \
  "--enable-so" \
  "--enable-modules=ssl dav ldap auth_ldap" \
  "--with-ldap" \
  "--with-dbm=db4" \
  "--with-berkeley-db=/usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.0" \
  "--with-auth_ldap=/home/moloney/httpd-ldap" \
  "$@"
