Subject [BUG] [Apache 2] configure options get discarded
Date Mon, 25 Feb 2002 16:01:33 GMT
Using a clean checkout of Apache2 (also tested with the 2.0.32-alpha
tarball) it appears that most of the "Directory and file names" options get
overwritten when configure invokes APACHE_LAYOUT()
This is because no check is made to see whether --enable-layout has been
passed to configure before the layout extraction code is run with the
"Apache" layout as the default.
The attached patch checks for this; with the patch you have to specifically
enable a layout.
