Interesting... Here are the first few lines from the tag...

C:\home\apache\apache-1.3\apache-1.3>cvs tag APACHE_1_3_23
cvs tag APACHE_1_3_23
? .cvsignore
cvs server: Tagging .
T ABOUT_APACHE
T Announcement
<snip>

.cvsignore was, um, ignored it seems. It exists on my system...

Now it gets more interesting... Notice what happens when I do an update...

C:\home\apache\apache-1.3\apache-1.3>cvs update
cvs update
? .cvsignore
cvs server: Updating .
C .cvsignore
cvs update: move away ./.cvsignore; it is in the way
cvs server: Updating cgi-bin
<snip>

I rm'ed .cvsignore, then updated it and the funky update message goes away. Curiouser and
curiouser...

Bill
