Subject Re: [STATUS] (httpd-2.0) Wed Nov 28 23:45:08 EST 2001
Date Thu, 29 Nov 2001 00:45:18 GMT

Since when do things that have already been
voted on just suddenly 'disappear' from the
official Apache STATUS file(s)?

The section regarding the inclusion of Ian's 'mod_gz'
and the consideration of 'another candidate'
has suddenly VANISHED from the Apache 2.0
STATUS file without any discussion or official
resolution.

By Ken Coar's own count there were already SEVEN +1's
in favor of adding Ian's mod_gz to httpd-2.0.

So how can an item that already has SEVEN +1's
and no official VETOES whatsoever not be resolved
much less suddenly REMOVED from the status file
without any discussion?

Does Ken Coar really have this kind of personal
control over what does or does not go into
the Apache Server and/or remains in the STATUS file?
