+1 to announcing to Current-Testers.

-1 to Stable-Testers until we announce the beta --- then let them at it before
we announce as release (if we get that far.)

How should we manage these lists?  Some of _us_ has gotta be reading them.
Who knows, I might even have subscribed some time back.

Ken, would you ping both lists so we know for sure if we are on those lists?
