Actually apache shouldn't be using mm ... we should be reflecting through
the apr_shmem functions.

I'd started some prototyping some time ago.  With several things off my
plate the week of the 12th, I should have time to work this up.

The issue is our apr test code believes fork() is portable :-(  A bunch of
the tests need to be rewritten for more portable testing.  That turned a
four hour hack into a days work that I haven't gotten back to.
