Not a joke.

I truly believe, with a little more effort, any 1.3 legacy module
can be supported with no changes.

If I get a few free hours I will prove it to you.

The 'engine' knows what is happening at all times.
It can 'do the right thing'.

Hint: Don't forget about MODULE_MAGIC_NUMBER
compile time tests.
