Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-Spam-Rating: locus.apache.org 1.6.2 0/1000/N -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Greetings! If you're not interested in Apache and the ApacheCon conferences, read no further. The deadline for session proposals for the ApacheCon 2001 event in Santa Clara in April 2001 has passed, and we have received more than 150 submissions. That's a lot, and we could sure use your help figuring out which ones to schedule (since we'll have fewer than half as many session slots). To help you help us, two changes have been made to the ApacheCon Web site. The first is that anyone can now get an 'account' on the site, whether you've attended ApacheCon in the past or not. This allows you to participate in things like.. well, like the next item. The second change is a form that lets you rate the submissions according to how interested you'd be in attending if it were scheduled. The planners will use this feedback in figuring out which sessions are likely to be the best and/or most popular. Go to . If you already have an ApacheCon account, log in with it. If you've forgotten your password, use the lower half of the form and press 'send password.' If you don't have an account yet, use the lower part of the form and click 'create account.' In either of the last two cases, wait for the mail message sent to your email address, and then log in using the top half of the form. Once you're logged in, choose the 'rate CFPs' link under the ApacheCon 2001 headline. Please let me know if you have any questions or suggestions.. and thanks for your support! - -- #ken P-)} Ken Coar Apache Software Foundation "Apache Server for Dummies" "Apache Server Unleashed" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGP for Personal Privacy 5.0 Charset: noconv iQCVAwUBOkJYMprNPMCpn3XdAQFibwQAqRSCITNKCy+ejfhEq/mldJJ+GAZDvx1r 3XkwkZjLJVzwfMjd6diGGcvpvps25rkNjmz2jJqjyTeu+yLalXp30LKaKhL3QOCr gLEXEDqjI7w3Z/2/oNKNvzYJvKz8arITEfEFOhQipD+KiLTOLsVTV84z+i5APNsq yIqLLmotvI4= =itaL -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
