Actually, I was referring to Solaris' Asynchronous I/O model... the aioread,
aiowrite calls and not the aio_read and aio_write calls.  The first are
Solaris' the second are POSIX if memory serves.

Forgive Suns' ass backwards naming convention, but I think it has to do with
which came first.

The only thing I have ever used aio_* for is streaming to tape devices, but I
see no reason why it couldn't be used quite succeffuly in an HTTP server.
