Date Fri, 22 Dec 2000 12:01:43 GMT
Hi guys,
Ima new user to this list.
Iam having a peculiar problem while compiling apache.

***********

===> src/main
gcc -c -I../os/unix -I../include -DLINUX=2 -DUSE_HSREGEX -DUSE_EXPAT
-I../lib/expat-lite `../apaci` gen_test_char.c
gcc -DLINUX=2 -DUSE_HSREGEX -DUSE_EXPAT -I../lib/expat-lite `../apaci`
-o gen_test_char gen_test_char.o -lm -lcrypt -ldl
/gen_test_char >test_char.h
make[3]: *** [test_char.h] Error 139
make[2]: *** [subdirs] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/apache_1.3.14/src'
make[1]: *** [build-std] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/apache_1.3.14'
make: *** [build] Error 2

******

Actually i get segfault when i try to execute ./gen_test_char in src/main

I have compiled apache many time's before and never had this problem.

my configure command is very simple (i,e) ./configure
--prefix=/usr/local/apache --enable-shared=max

iam running a mandrake7.1 box and the apache version is 1.3-14.

Can anyone please point me the error.

thanks

dushyanth
