Subject [PATCH] 1.3.13-dev for MPE/iX
Date Fri, 22 Sep 2000 22:34:46 GMT
Hi new-httpd,

Please see attached for a patch that updates the MPE/iX port for 1.3.13-dev
(yes, I know we need to start playing with 2.0 on MPE).

FWIW, I originally posted this patch back on May 30th, but it appears to
have slipped through the cracks and never made it into the current 1.3 cvs
tree. Since there's now talk about rolling 1.3.13, I'm trying again.

The following is a summary of the patch:

1) Updating the MPE DSO code to be compatible with an OS patch fixing an
earlier DSO problem.

2) Refining how MPE deals with UID/GID management and dealing with some MPE
limitations in this area.

3) First-time support for mod_proxy.

4) #include tweakage required for using apxs to build modules without access
to the full source tree.

5) Other minor tweaks.

I'd appreciate it if somebody could reply publicly or privately to let me
know if this patch is accepted. Thanks!
