My first and only thought?  Prior to the post-config (yes, the
2.0 euphanism, I have to work through where that is in 1.3 :-)

In 2.0, I want the window dismissable, the whole works.
But I'm willing to live with a hack in 1.3.x just to get rid
of the multitude of q's that arise from this issue.
