I successfully embedded the Win32 Apache by spawning a thread that does the
following:

hLib = LoadLibrary("apachecore.dll");
pApache_Main = (goofy cast)GetProcAddress(hLib, "apache_main");
/* create an argc and argv to pass into apache_main with -X on the command
line*/
pApache_Main(appArgc,appArgv);
