I can get the error using the three line config you posted, but not using
the default config.  I'll look at your patch and try to figure out what
the problem is today or EARLY tomorrow.

This is a priority for me, so unless somebody beats me to it, I'll do it
tomorrow morning.  (Unfortunately, I have another priority that is taking
precedence)  :-)
