Subject non-blocking accept in APR?
Date Wed, 26 Apr 2000 00:54:35 GMT
Is there any hope of non-blocking accept in APR?

I'm trying to use them in dexter instead of cross-process
serialization, because I'm hoping it will be faster, and to allow
good support for user threads.

Since dexter is supposed to be a Unix-specific MPM, I'm probably just
going to take out the APR network calls anyway.

As an aside, in the current dexter code, we're making a wasteful
getsockname() call because of the transitions between APR and OS
sockets. A BSD-like socket API would be cleaner, IMO, and also avoid
this extra overhead.
