On what sort of license can you get:

    C Library Functions                                   tsearch(3C)

    NAME
         tsearch, tfind, tdelete, twalk - manage binary search trees

I'll note, however, than none of the implementations on which I've
tested this (Solaris, OS/390, Linux/GNU) balance the tree.  Performance
could be suffer for large tables.
