Yea.  I was trying to get that to work right.  As far as I can tell, the only
way to make this work is to use a patch program that pays attention to the

line at the top of the patch.  I'm sure this has been worked out before but
I couldn't seem to find any options that diff takes to make this work better.  

Any ideas?
