Subject 1999 ACM Software System Award

Apache httpd has been selected for the 1999 ACM Software System Award
(like the Turing award, but for projects instead of individuals).  You can
see the list of past recipients at <http://www.acm.org/awards/ssaward.html>.
The prize is $10,000.

UCI did the legwork of nominating Apache.
