I don't see this as a problem. First of all, with mod_log_config, you
get to specify which values and in what order they are printed out in.
So, your logger can look for whatever it wants.

If this isn't good enough, you could also make mod_log_config spit out
xml tags. It'll be ugly xml, but it'll be xml:

LogFormat "<host>%h</host><ident>%l</ident>..." common-xml

And, there's no reason that mod_log_xml can't be written. It ought to
be easy enough.
