Unless there exists an outlet in the 2.0 "tree" that will allow that, and provides some measure of confidence that they aren't simply spinning their wheel, all enhancements will be popped into the 1.3.x tree :( For me, now that I've gotten pth to compile under A/UX, I'm going to see how far I get with apache-2.0, pthread and pre-fork.
