Subject Minor change to configure

As we're going for another roll, does anyone object if I sneak in this patch?
It allows configure to be used to build loadable modules for OS/2 and
shouldn't have the slightest effect on other platforms. 

The only reason I didn't commit it earlier is that I usually do my diffs in
the src directory so I missed it.....
