  Yeah, I guess so, but it seems like a good thing to be able to  
build and package up modules separately.  I realized that I still  
have a problem if I want to activate the module in the conf file  
using apxs, because apxs will insert my edited path instead of the  
final path...  I'm thinking what would be nice if I could active a  
module with apxs (-e for edit?) without having to install the binary,  
so I can do it in parts:

	apxs -i -S LIBEXECDIR=/tmp/module/path -n dav libdav.so
	apxs -e -S SYSCONFDIR=/tmp/conf/dir -A -n dav libdav.so

  And apxs can be used to enable/disable modules at any time.   
Creeping featurism or feature?
