Subject Re: [PATCH] "responsible party" for requests.

I can't speak for everyone here on new-httpd...but I can speak for me...

I haven't been able to attend to suEXEC for nearly 8 months now... Every
time I try to allocate time to it, plans fall through and I've had to put
it on the back-burner again.

I'm in the process of reviewing ALL open issues with suEXEC, and have some
generously donated server access that I haven't had before. Once I sort
out a few more personal things, I'll be slamming back into suEXEC real
soon now.

I'm sorry if you feel you've been snubbed in any way. But this is a
volunteer effort, and there were ever only a few of us interested in
expanding suEXEC in a careful and well-planned manner. Those few of us
either have other interests right now, are no longer active with us, or --
like me -- have been too damn busy to do a thing about it.

Could you please send me email containing attachments for each of your
patches, explaining what each of them do, and why/how you created them?
If you posted them to new-httpd, I'm sorry, but N-H mail has been punted
to low priority folders for some time, and I've missed the patches you've
sent. In short, I'd love to review your patches for possible inclusion
into suEXEC....just contact me privately with the information...

(a frantically busy)Jason
