Do you have any benchmark data comparing Win32 Apache performance when
compiled with MSVC vs Borland?

Curious,
Charles

If you REALLY want SPEED improvements for Apache Win32 base
code you should be using BORLAND. I compile Apache all the time
on MSVC 4.x, 5.x, 6.x and BORLAND 3.x, 4.x, 5.x... and there is
no comparison. Even BORLAND 3.x ( 4 years old now? ) produces
much more efficient assembler than MSVC 6.0.

...

If you are worried about the the assembler output at all then the
MSVC 5 to MSVC 6 issue is hardly worth the effort...
start using BORLAND compiler(s) for some REAL speed improvements.
