Subject [PATCH] SHARED_CORE_BOOTSTRAP fix
Date Fri, 12 Mar 1999 15:45:32 GMT
When linking on a SHARED_CORE platform, I now (since libap is linked in)
net an error like this one:
    ....
    ld -G -o libhttpd.so buildmark.o modules.o modules/extra/libextra.a modules/standard/libstandard.a
main/libmain.a ./os/unix/libos.a ap/libap.a regex/libregex.a
    cc -I./os/unix -I./include -I/usr/include -I/usr/local/include -I/mx3_54/local/include
 -DSVR4 -D_XPG_IV -DHAS_DLFCN -DUSE_MMAP_FILES -DUSE_SYSVSEM_SERIALIZED_ACCEPT -DNEED_UNION_SEMUN
-DUSE_HSREGEX -KPIC -DSHARED_CORE -UALLOC_DEBUG -UPOOL_DEBUG -DSINIX_D_RESOLVER_BUG `./apaci`
 -L/usr/lib -L/usr/local/lib -L/mx3_54/local/lib \
	  -o libhttpd.ep -DSHARED_CORE_TIESTATIC main/http_main.c \
-L. -lhttpd -lg -lsocket -lnsl -lc -ldb -ldl
    cc -I./os/unix -I./include -I/usr/include -I/usr/local/include -I/mx3_54/local/include

-DUSE_HSREGEX -KPIC -DSHARED_CORE -UALLOC_DEBUG -UPOOL_DEBUG -DSINIX_D_RESOLVER_BUG `./apaci`
 -L/usr/lib -L/usr/local/lib -L/mx3_54/local/lib \
	  -o httpd -DSHARED_CORE_BOOTSTRAP main/http_main.c ap/libap.a
    Undefined first referenced
     symbol in file
    ntohl ap/libap.a(ap_snprintf.o)
    ntohs ap/libap.a(ap_snprintf.o)
ld: httpd: fatal error: Symbol referencing errors. No output written to httpd

The simple fix is appended.

Ralf - does this solution sound sensible to you? Or should I check this
more thoroughly?
