For instance the platform determination section in ap_mm.h should be enlarged to contain more fixed platforms instead of the guessing approach. The license text (see above) has to be ajusted and the malloc library has to be tested in more gory detail. The stuff is derived from a stand-alone library ("mm") I wrote for mod_ssl and I've just copy & pasted the code from there to ap_mm.[ch] including the license.
