What sort of filesystem are you using Brian?  Is it FAT32?  That could be
the difference...

Hmm.  Just tried it on a FAT32 machine here.  Nope, still can't reproduce
it.

Brian: if you could try my install of the 1.3.1-dev code on a machine and,
if you can still reproduce it, tar/zip/whatever up your whole tree and I
can try that to see what the difference is.
