Subject Win32: build fails - main/http_bprintf.c and main/test_char.h
Date Sun, 29 Mar 1998 07:19:14 GMT
>From a fresh anoncvs update:

...
NMAKE : fatal error U1073: don't know how to make
'.\main\http_bprintf.c'
Stop.

>From the cvs log for http_bprintf.c, it looks like this file has
been eliminated.

It appears that I could just remove the references in
ApacheCore.mak and fix this.

However, I haven't been following the Win32 stuff long
enough to know if the .mak files are always automatically generated
by DevStudio or if they're supposed to be edited by hand.

After editing ApacheCore.mak, the build fails because main/util.c
references test_char.h but can't find it. From the comments in
util.c, test_char.h is supposed to be automatically generated
by gen_test_char.

...
.\main\util.c(81) : fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file:
'test_char.h':
No such file or directory
NMAKE : fatal error U1077: 'cl.exe' : return code '0x2'
Stop.

Could someone more familiar with the Win32 build process fix this?
