What I'm trying to tell you is that we think we've dealt with all these
issues already.  *And we'd really really like to know NOW before 1.3 is
shipped if we got it right.* So I know you won't be shipping 1.3 until
we're out of beta, but it'll help you a hell of a lot if you find the bugs
in it now before it requires us major surgery. 

We won't do major configuration surgery on a minor rev.  That's why we're
not doing major configuration surgery on 1.2.x.  That's why we need you to
test 1.3.

And... if you look at 1.3 then you'll stop complaining about things we've
already dealt with :)
