If it is the last commit on a file, you can simply revert to the previous
version and then commit that as the HEAD.

If other commits have gone in after that, as long as it isn't in the same
part of the code, then you simply pull out the diff of the particular
commit you wish to reverse and then patch -R it on the source file and
commit the new version.
