C2Net, publisher of the popular Stronghold web server and the revolutionary
Safe Passage product line, is hiring for several technically-oriented
positions working out of its Oakland, CA office. The office environment is
diverse and informal but technically demanding. We're looking for people to
do the following:

Unix/NT Administrator: Administrate several Unix (mostly FreeBSD, with some
Irix and Linux) and Windows NT servers. A successful candidate will have a
strong computer security orientation, a solid Unix and TCP/IP WAN/routing
background, and be familiar with the use of cryptographic software and
firewall/packet filter technology to maintain strong security in and among
Internet-connected systems located on several different continents.

CIO/IS Manager: Manage the installation, support, and maintenance of
end-user workstations (a mix of Windows 95, Windows NT, Macintosh, and Unix
systems) and servers worldwide. A successful candidate will be familiar
with the Internet, computer security principles and techniques, webservers,
SQL, database-backed websites and accounting systems.

WWW/Database Programmer: Update and automate internal and external
webservers to support C2Net's business processes by designing and
implementing a SQL database(s) with a WWW/html interface. A successful
candidate will be experienced with the use of Unix (especially FreeBSD or
Linux), SQL, Perl, and database-backed websites.

Candidates for any of the above positions should be prepared to "get their
hands dirty" - we're looking for people who can begin working quickly and
who don't need extensive supervision. C2Net is committed to the worldwide
deployment of strong cryptography in the service of individual liberty.
C2Net is an equal opportunity employer, and qualified candidates of any
persuasion are encouraged to apply.
