Something like this might work...

 RewriteCond /usr/local/apache/customer-bin/%{REQUEST_URI} -F
 RewriteRule ^/(.+) /usr/local/apache/customer-bin/$1 [L]
 RewriteCond /usr/local/apache/default-bin/%{REQUEST_URI} -F
 RewriteRule ^/(.+) /usr/local/apache/default-bin/$1 [L]
