Subject [PATCH] 36kB: Make apache compile & run on an EBCDIC mainframe

Look at the document
			    README.EBCDIC
at the beginning of the patch for design criteria. The rest of
the patch mainly adapts the ASCII view of the current server
to the EBCDIC native char set used by the platform.

Oh, the port isn't complete yet, there are a few open odds & ends
(see README.EBCDIC for a list of working/missing modules).
But it already makes a stable and rather complete server.
