Subject [DOC] FTP proxy: document ";type=a" suffix?
Date Fri, 12 Dec 1997 12:29:00 GMT
The mod_proxy module proxy_ftp.c has an undocumented "feature": when the
URL is suffixed by ";type=a", then an ASCII transfer (as opposed to the
default binary transfer) is enforced. I wondered if this fact should be
documented somewhere, for the rare cases where strange (i.e., non-unix)
FTP servers need an ASCII hint to serve a document correctly.
