Not every system has the tools to verify the MD5 hash. I even think pgp
is spread publicly more than md5.

Nahh.. Nothing to do with CGI. The first SEGV I had seems to have been
connected with Dean's off-by-one patch, it vanished since the patch was
committed (and was unrelated: occurred when serving a / page). The other
one I get is on a mainframe machine (EBCDIC + POSIX), occurs directly
after handling the configuration files for the first time, and I'm
looking forward to testing Dean's patch which works without clear_pool()
and the second config reading.
