Trying to catch up on some mail here.

FTR - I _don't_ think that 1.3b1 should be released without a Win32 
binary. After all, that is the whole point of 1.3. The other items 
here have some fairly decent testing being done on UNIX already. I 
would rather see us hold this up for the Win32 stuff.
